Whirlpool EDR1RXD1 (everydrop Filter 1): what it fits and certified alternatives

Which fridges it fits

Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana, KitchenAid and JennAir refrigerators that call for "Filter 1" (Whirlpool's wording). Whirlpool's filter page lists where to find your model number.

Specific model list: not verified. Whirlpool doesn't publish a full model list on the product page; use its filter finder or the everydrop filter finder.

Genuine filter

Price: $36.99 (1-pack), $69.98 (2-pack) on Whirlpool.com; showed "temporarily out of stock".
Certification: NSF/ANSI 42, 53, 401 and CSA B483.1, 200 gallons, per Whirlpool's performance data sheet.

Generic alternatives

No generic for Filter 1 found in the NSF listings for Waterdrop or Aqua Crest (searched by part number). Generic alternatives: not verified. Whirlpool warns damage from non-genuine filters isn't covered by its warranty.
